Minho was born on December 9, 1991, in Incheon, South Korea. He has an older brother his name is Choi Minseok ( Born 1989 )His father is the football coach Choi Yun-kyum. Minho was discovered at the "2006 S.M. Casting System". Before debuting with SHINee, Minho modeled for Ha Sang Baek's "Seoul Collection F/W 08-09" in March. He debuted as a member of SHINee on May 25, 2008, and began writing lyrics with their first studio album, The SHINee World.
